Aladdin

Aladdin (Superfantagenio, 1986) is an Italian fantasy comedy directed by Bruno Corbucci that you can watch online on iFILM. The setting is not the Arabian Nights but present-day Miami: a boy named Al stumbles across an old lamp, rubs it, and out steps a genie who has been asleep inside for two hundred years and has absolutely no idea what decade it is.

The genie is played by Bud Spencer, which tells you everything about the film's register. Enormous, good-natured, and baffled by modern life, he grants wishes in ways nobody expected and causes far more trouble than he solves. Luca Venantini plays Al with the kind of easy charm Italian family films of the era required of their child leads.
