Call Boy (娼年, 2018) is a Japanese drama you can watch online on iFILM. University student Ryo Morinaka drifts through his days behind a bar — no ambition, no particular feeling about anything, just routine. Then a chance encounter draws him into a members-only host bar run by the composed Shizuka Mido.

Ryo begins taking private appointments, and what starts as a transaction slowly becomes something else. Directed by Daisuke Miura and starring Toori Matsuzaka, the film handles its subject without apology — less interested in provocation than in the quieter question of how a person discovers what they want.
