Jack the Bear

Jack the Bear (1993) is a dark family drama you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Marshall Herskovitz. Danny DeVito plays John Leary, an Oakland horror show host who starts drinking after his wife's death and gradually loses his grip on everything else.

His older son Jack narrates the family's slow unraveling: a custody battle with the grandparents, a neighbor with neo-Nazi convictions played by Gary Sinise, and eventually the kidnapping of younger brother Dylan. Julia Louis-Dreyfus is the woman next door John starts to like, and a young Reese Witherspoon turns up in a small role.
