Synopsis

Mike (Ben Stiller) is chasing the biggest contract of his career in Chicago when his sister dies and leaves him guardian of her four orphaned sons. They tear across rural Ohio with zero rules; he just wants to place them with a foster family and get back to work. The boys feel otherwise. Linda Cardellini plays the social worker whose paperwork decides where they end up.
Green, who made Joe and the recent Halloween films, turns in something surprisingly warm about a grown man learning to stop running. The four nephews are played by the real-life Janson brothers, which is why the on-screen chaos feels so unrehearsed. Easy, good-hearted viewing for fans of accidental-parent stories.
