Shadow is a black hedgehog with powers identical to Sonic's — and a classified origin that goes back decades. Keanu Reeves gives him the voice. Sonic (Ben Schwartz), Knuckles (Idris Elba) and Tails find themselves outmatched and forced into a deal they wouldn't normally consider. Jim Carrey is back in double duty — as Dr. Robotnik and as his grandfather Gerald Robotnik, whose old experiments are the reason Shadow exists at all. James Marsden and Tika Sumpter return as the human family anchoring the chaos.
