Synopsis
Clockwatchers (1997), directed by Jill Sprecher, is ready to watch online on iFILM. Toni Collette, Parker Posey, Lisa Kudrow, and Alanna Ubach play four office temps at a credit company who share a corner of the floor and a working knowledge of being invisible.
Margaret wants a permanent contract. Paula wants the stage. Jane wants to get married and out. Iris is waiting for something, though she isn't sure what. The film moves at the speed of a clock being watched — deliberately, uncomfortably slow — and that's where the comedy lives. When items start disappearing from the office and suspicion settles on one of the four, the friendship that formed around shared discomfort starts to fray.
