The Houses October Built 2 (2017) is an American found-footage horror you can watch online on iFILM. It picks up the story of a group who, a year earlier, fell into the hands of an "extreme haunt."

Five friends are still rattled after last Halloween. They were abducted by the Blue Skeleton, a crew that erases the line between staged scares and real harm. To bury the fear, they climb back into the van and tour haunted-house attractions across the American South. At first it reads as therapy and a cheap adrenaline fix. Then familiar blue skulls start surfacing on walls, in costumed crowds, in late-night messages. Director Bobby Roe once again steps in front of the camera as one of the group.

What sets the two films apart is the shooting method: much of it was filmed inside genuine commercial haunt attractions, so half of what scares you on screen is real. This installment is the more honest of the pair — it is about how a craving for thrills hauls its own victims back into the trap.
