Synopsis
Talon Falls (2017), a horror film from director Joshua Shreve, is available to watch online on iFILM. Four teenagers on a road trip take a detour and wander into a roadside haunted attraction — a Halloween scream park buried deep in the woods of southern Kentucky.
At first it reads like any other gimmick: costumed performers, staged torture, fake blood and screams for the paying crowd. But the scenes feel far too convincing. The group gets its answer in the worst possible way, when it stops being the audience and becomes the cast of a show no one is meant to walk away from. From there it settles into claustrophobic survival horror built on harsh practical effects.
Running a lean 74 minutes, the movie lives squarely in low-budget torture-horror territory — less about plot than about dread and physical shock. It suits fans of grim independent scares in the vein of Wrong Turn who don't need names on the poster. Stream Talon Falls (2017) online on iFILM.
