About
Synopsis
Mosul (2019) is Dan Gabriel's documentary, free to watch online on iFILM. The camera trails an Iraqi journalist who falls in with a ragtag, mutually suspicious coalition fighting to take back the country's second-largest city.
What you get is the real campaign to push the Islamic State out of Mosul — no staging, no reenactment. Just the firefights, the exhaustion, the flattened blocks, and the price paid by people liberating their own streets. The tagline puts it bluntly: for the nation to endure, a city must die. It runs a tight 86 minutes and drops the voice-of-god narration. One for viewers who want war without the Hollywood gloss. Stream Mosul (2019) online on iFILM.
