Synopsis
Age of the Dragons (2011) is a low-budget fantasy adventure you can watch online on iFILM. Director Ryan Little takes Herman Melville's Moby-Dick and drops it into a medieval land where crews hunt dragons for the vitriol that fuels their world.
Captain Ahab, played by Danny Glover, burns to kill the White Dragon that scarred his face and wiped out his family. Harpooner Ishmael (Corey Sevier) signs on, while Ahab's adopted daughter Rachel (Sofia Pernas) runs the hunting vessel and faces the hardest choice of anyone aboard: follow a man consumed by revenge, or walk away toward a life of her own. Vinnie Jones turns up among the crew. Don't expect blockbuster scale here. The film leans on its hook rather than its effects, swapping the white whale for a winged beast.
