Synopsis

Parinya grew up poor in rural Thailand and knew from childhood that she was a woman in a boy's body. A sex-change operation was the destination; money was the distance. The path she found: Muay Thai. She began winning bouts and stepped into the ring wearing lipstick and flowers in her hair. Early opponents took it as a joke. After enough knockouts, nobody laughed.
