Synopsis
Little Lili (La Petite Lili, 2003) is a French-Canadian drama you can watch online on iFILM — director Claude Miller's loose adaptation of Chekhov's The Seagull, relocated to a summer house full of artists. Julien, a young filmmaker, is in love with Lili. Lili wants to become a famous actress — like Julien's mother Mado.
Then Lili meets Brice: Mado's lover, an established film director who represents everything Julien isn't yet. The balance tips, and the whole small circle unravels quietly. Nicole Garcia, Ludivine Sagnier, Bernard Giraudeau and Michel Piccoli carry the film — precise and emotionally legible without ever spelling anything out. That restraint is exactly what this kind of material needs. Stream Little Lili (2003) online on iFILM.
