Faraway

Faraway (2023) is a German romantic comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Burned out and taken for granted by her husband and daughter, Zeynep walks away from Munich for a house on a Croatian island that her late mother quietly bought years earlier.

Peace and quiet aren't part of the deal. Gruff former owner Josip never actually moved out, and their bickering slowly warms into something else. Director Vanessa Jopp keeps it gentle, telling the story of a woman relearning how to want things for herself. Naomi Krauss plays Zeynep, with Croatian actor Goran Bogdan as Josip.
