Synopsis
Lone Wolf and Cub: Baby Cart in Peril (1972) is a Japanese samurai action film by Buichi Saitō, and you can watch it online on iFILM. Disgraced executioner Ogami Itto pushes a wooden baby cart down the roads of feudal Japan, cutting down anyone in his path. His price for a killing: five hundred gold.
This is the fourth chapter of the cult Lone Wolf and Cub saga. The contract is a strange one — Itto must hunt Oyuki, a tattooed swordswoman who hides her blade against bare skin. Trailing him and his small son Daigoro is an old enemy: Retsudo, head of the Yagyu clan, plus his son Gunbei, both hungry for revenge. Tomisaburo Wakayama plays Itto, heavy and terrifying once the steel comes out.
The series built its name on raw violence and geysers of blood, and it seeded a whole lineage of cinema — no Kill Bill, no Shogun without it.
