Synopsis
The Sandman (2017) is an American horror film from director Peter Sullivan, available to watch online on iFILM. Eight-year-old Madison can pull her nightmares into the waking world — frighten her, and a fanged creature claws its way out of her dreams to tear apart anyone who threatens her.
When her father dies, Madison goes to live with her aunt Claire, played by Haylie Duff, and trouble follows the girl right through the front door. A shadowy agency wants to get its hands on the gifted child, while the Sandman itself slips loose, no longer caring who counts as friend or foe. Tobin Bell — the Jigsaw Killer from the Saw films — turns up as a sinister government handler. It plays like a solid made-for-TV creature feature: a monster born of childhood fear, a girl whose gift is scarier than any curse, and adults badly out of their depth.
