Synopsis

Lorenzo, a painter in his fifties, is trying to rebuild his life with a much younger wife. During the pregnancy she grows colder and stranger; once the baby arrives, two nurses who speak only Norwegian move in, and Lorenzo finds himself quietly pushed away from his own infant son. Is he being erased from the child's life on purpose, or is this the paranoia of an unstable man? The film keeps you guessing almost to the last frame.
