Synopsis
Detective Conan: The Million-Dollar Pentagram (2024) is the franchise's 27th theatrical film — watch it online on iFILM. Director Chika Nagaoka steps into the role after years working as an animator on the series, and the shift north to Hokkaido gives the film a different texture from the usual Tokyo-set entries.
The Phantom Thief Kid sends his calling card: he will steal a Japanese sword from the Onoe family's collection in Hakodate. Conan and his Osaka rival Heiji Hattori are already in town when the case turns sharply — the family's lawyer is found dead in the harbor district, apparently killed by a blade, and the suspect is an arms dealer hunting for treasure hidden somewhere beneath the city. The mystery reaches back to the Great Edo period, and the five-pointed fortress of Goryokaku sits at the center of it all.
