Talvar

Talvar (2015) is an Indian crime thriller you can watch online on iFILM. A teenage girl named Shruti is found dead in her bedroom in Noida, along with a domestic worker. Police move fast — and point directly at her parents. A seasoned CBI investigator played by Irrfan Khan is brought in to re-examine everything.

Director Meghna Gulzar reconstructs a real 2008 double murder that remained legally contested for years. The film gives you three versions of the same crime — local police, CBI, and the courts — and they flatly contradict each other. Konkona Sen Sharma and Neeraj Kabi play the parents, people who lost a child and then became the primary suspects. Tabu appears in a short but precisely written role.

At 132 minutes, Talvar never delivers the clean resolution a genre film would. That is the point. Watch it online on iFILM.
