Trauma

Trauma (2017) is Lucio A. Rojas' Chilean horror-thriller, available to watch online on iFILM. Four young women drive out to a remote village in southern Chile for a weekend away, then cross paths with a father and son who treat cruelty as a craft.

No one in the nearby town will help. A pair of local cops agrees to back the women, and together they decide to fight back. What they uncover is worse than ordinary madness: the men's savagery traces straight back to the dictatorship years, to a state machine that once rewarded torture and human experiments. This family's brutality is an inheritance, not an accident.

Rojas shoots without sparing the audience. The violence is explicit, and the film quickly earned a name as one of the most punishing entries in Latin American extreme horror. It isn't casual viewing.
