Synopsis
The Lodger (2009) is David Ondaatje's grim thriller, ready to watch online on iFILM. Along West Hollywood's Sunset Strip, a killer is butchering victims with methods that echo London's Jack the Ripper.
The story braids two threads together. Frayed landlady Ellen (Hope Davis) rents a room to a silent, unsettling tenant and grows convinced she has let a monster inside her home. Meanwhile detective Chandler Manning (Alfred Molina) works the case and spots a chilling pattern: the fresh murders mirror those of a man already locked away — which means the wrong suspect may be behind bars.
