A wrecked car on a dark Louisiana road — that's where Autopsy (2008) begins, and you can watch it online on iFILM. A carful of recent college grads crashes on their last road trip, and the ambulance that answers takes them to Mercy Hospital.

Emily, her boyfriend and their friends think the worst is over. It isn't. The half-empty hospital runs on a sick logic of its own: the Hippocratic oath bent toward horror, the patients kept alive for experiments no doctor should be doing. Finding the way out turns out to be the hard part.

Director Adam Gierasch packs the scares into a lean 85 minutes. Robert Patrick — the T-1000 from Terminator 2 — leads, with Jenette Goldstein and Robert LaSardo close behind. Gory, claustrophobic and quick on its feet, it's aimed squarely at old-school horror fans. Stream Autopsy online on iFILM.
