Synopsis
Cannibal Apocalypse (Apocalypse Domani, 1980) is an Italian horror film you can watch online on iFILM. Vietnam veteran Norman Hopper has settled back into a quiet suburban life, but the war isn't finished with him, and it comes knocking the day his old comrade Charlie Bukowski turns up.
The two men carried something home from a POW camp besides nightmares: a craving for human flesh that spreads like a contagion. Charlie cracks first, gets into a shootout with the police, and drags his old friend down with him. The infection fans out across the city, every bite making another carrier, until the bloody finale chases the survivors into the sewers. John Saxon takes the lead, with Italian horror regular Giovanni Lombardo Radice beside him.
Director Antonio Margheriti welds a war drama, a zombie picture and a cop thriller into one nasty whole, turning out one of the most notorious Italian video nasties of its day.
