The kid is played again by Cary Guffey, the child star of Spielberg's Close Encounters of the Third Kind. Directed by Michele Lupo, it's broad, bloodless slapstick built for a family afternoon: dumb-fun fistfights, easy gags, and a gentle giant who flattens every bad guy by the final reel.
