A chemical leak at a secret research plant deep in the Papua New Guinea jungle wakes the dead, who tear through anything that still breathes.

An Interpol commando squad is sent in to mop up eco-terrorists and stumbles straight into the outbreak. What should have been a routine sweep becomes a losing fight: the reanimated keep coming from every direction, and ammo runs out long before the monsters do. Mattei shot fast and cheap, padding the carnage with stock nature footage and a Goblin score lifted from Romero. The result is crude, gory and frequently ridiculous — exactly why fans of 1980s Italian horror treasure its reckless energy. Pure pulp for the old-school crowd.
