Boyd came back from Europe to find postwar life had little to offer: a dead-end job, a growing family, an evaporating dream of Hollywood. He started robbing Toronto banks with the presence of a film star, and the press gave him exactly the fame he'd wanted. Scott Speedman plays Boyd; Kelly Reilly, Kevin Durand, and Brian Cox round out a strong supporting cast.
