3 Zimmer/Küche/Bad (Move, 2012) — watch online on iFILM. German director Dietrich Brüggemann built this comedy around a simple structure: eight friends in their twenties, eleven move dates, cities across Germany, boxes going in and out of vans.

Anna Brüggemann, Robert Gwisdek, Alice Dwyer and Jacob Matschenz play people who have turned relocation into a reflex. New flat, new job, new relationship — or the same relationship relocated to see if that changes anything. Brüggemann keeps the tone dry rather than melancholy; the observation underneath the comedy is that these people are very good at moving and not especially good at arriving.
