Miriam DeKalb is the lone survivor of the night her father — Cyrus, a ruthless weapons magnate — lured his four grown children into an office tower and hunted them down. The police think she's lying, and the murders are about to be pinned on her. Then the Gamemaster appears: a mystic entity who treats human agony as a wager among her own kind. She offers Miriam a chance to return to that night and play it through again.

Morena Baccarin voices the Gamemaster, William Shatner narrates, and Ray Wise and Bill Moseley round out the cast. The animation is deliberately harsh and bloody, closer to a graphic novel than a cartoon, and the story runs like a lethal time loop.
