Synopsis
Mortal Kombat Legends: Battle of the Realms (2021) is an R-rated animated action fantasy you can watch online on iFILM. Directed by Ethan Spaulding and pulled straight from the games, it pushes the gore well past anything the live-action films attempt.
Earthrealm is overrun. Shao Kahn has stopped pretending to honor the old rules and simply marches his Outworld horde across the planet. Lord Raiden bets everything on one final tournament: win it and Earth survives, lose and it's erased. Liu Kang, Johnny Cage, Sonya Blade and Jax step up alongside a few new fighters. Yet while the brawls rage in the arena, Shinnok is deep in the Netherrealm working a scheme far nastier than any single match, aiming not for victory but for the end of everything.
This is a direct follow-up to Scorpion's Revenge, and it keeps the throttle down — fatalities play out uncut, the rating fully earned. Joel McHale voices Cage and Jennifer Carpenter takes Sonya.
