Synopsis
The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf (2021) is an animated fantasy adventure you can watch online on iFILM, set in the world of The Witcher. It follows a young Vesemir, the gruff mentor Geralt later trains under in the Netflix series.
A starving village boy runs from poverty and signs up to become a witcher for coin and swagger. He carves through monsters with a cocky grin until a fresh threat reaches Kaer Morhen and drags up everything he buried. Theo James voices Vesemir, alongside Lara Pulver and Graham McTavish, with sleek hand-drawn action from Studio Mir, the team behind Avatar: The Legend of Korra.
Beau DeMayo, head writer on the live-action show, scripted it, so the lore locks in cleanly. Expect blood, silver swords and ugly choices, all moving faster than any live set could manage.
