Beast

Beast (2022) — watch online on iFILM — is a Tamil action thriller from director Nelson Dilipkumar. Thalapathy Vijay plays a former RAW operative who happens to be inside a Chennai shopping mall when a terrorist cell seizes the building and takes the crowd hostage.

There are no reinforcements coming. The agent has a personal score to settle with the man orchestrating the siege from prison — the same man whose arrest cost him his career. So he works alone. Pooja Hegde co-stars, and Anirudh Ravichander's score drives the 115 minutes at a relentless pace.

Dilipkumar made his name with Doctor, another film that mixed action and irreverence in roughly equal measure, and Beast follows the same formula. The action set-pieces deliver, the comedy lands, and Vijay does exactly what his audience shows up for. Stream Beast (2022) online on iFILM.
