No Man's Land (Seasons 1–3)
The fight for family knows no boundaries.
Synopsis
No Man's Land (2020) is a war-and-spy drama series you can watch online on iFILM. Two years ago, Paris engineer Antoine buried his sister Anna, killed in a bombing in Cairo. That, at least, is the story his whole family settled on.
Then a news clip about Kurdish fighters stops him cold: one woman on screen looks exactly like Anna. It can't be her, and yet the doubt won't let go. Antoine walks out on his life and heads to Syria, falling in with a unit of Kurdish women who have fought their own war for years. From there it's occupied ground, spies, anarchists, recruiters and bystanders caught in the middle — and the deeper he digs, the harder it gets to tell allies from enemies. Félix Moati carries the search, with Mélanie Thierry, Souheila Yacoub and James Purefoy around him.
Israeli directors Oded Raskin and Rotem Shamir bring the sharp local school of political thriller, threading one man's private quest through real geopolitics without grandstanding. Several storylines run side by side and knot together at the end. One for fans of brainy espionage drama and a ground-level view of the Syrian war. Stream No Man's Land online on iFILM.
