"A Mermaid in Paris" (Une sirène à Paris, 2020) is a French romantic fantasy you can watch online on iFILM. Directed by Mathias Malzieu, who also wrote the novel it's based on, the film follows a Parisian musician who pulls a mermaid out of the Seine one night and brings her home.

There is an old rule: anyone who hears a mermaid sing falls irreversibly in love — then dies. Gaspard (Nicolas Duvauchelle) knows this. He falls anyway. Lula (Marilyn Lima) feels it too. Now both are looking for a way out of the trap they walked into together. Rossy de Palma and Cheky Karyo fill out the world with warmth and odd humor.
