Synopsis
The Adventures of Buratino (1976) is a beloved Soviet musical fairy tale you can watch online on iFILM — directed by Leonid Nechayev, with Dmitry Iosifov as the wooden boy carved by Papa Carlo who promptly gets into every kind of trouble.

Based on Alexei Tolstoy's retelling of Pinocchio, the film aired as a two-part television special but has been watched as a complete feature ever since. Bykov's Basilio and Rina Zelyonaya's Tortila alone justify revisiting it as an adult — the performances are sharper than the children's format suggests.
