Director Andre Gaines builds the entire film around a single encounter: two people in a sealed car, one of them steering the conversation toward something dark. Mara's character knows too much, and every stop feels like a tightening knot. Holland and Mara spend most of the runtime face to face — and that's precisely what makes the ending land so hard.
