The In-Laws (2008) is a Ukrainian family comedy you can watch online on iFILM. When young couple Masha and Maksim fly off to Italy, they leave their five-year-old daughter Zhenya in the care of both sets of grandparents — who arrive at the same time by mistake. Masha's parents, Valya and Ivan, are unpretentious village folk. Maksim's parents, Olga and Yuri, are city people with a strong sense of how children should be raised. Fyodor Dobronravov, Tatyana Kravchenko and Lyudmila Artemieva lead the cast.

Every episode runs the same collision: four stubborn adults, one grandchild and zero shared ground on schedules, food or discipline. The city grandparents restrict; the village grandparents indulge. Zhenya figures out how to work both sides. What holds the series together isn't any single joke — it's the grudging warmth that builds between two families who have nothing in common except the people they love.
