Just before his arrest, he sends the footage to journalist Lax Morales — he wants to explain himself on air. Reedus plays Lax as a man already carrying his own damage; the two are now locked in a conversation neither can walk away from. Less about the act itself, more about the long silence before it — and who carries the weight of not asking sooner.
