Synopsis

The Unbelievers (2013) is a documentary you can watch online on iFILM. Director Gus Holwerda follows evolutionary biologist Richard Dawkins and theoretical physicist Lawrence Krauss on a global speaking tour — conferences, debates, campus events — arguing for science and rational inquiry over religious and political dogma.

The film moves between packed auditoriums and backstage conversations, pulling in voices from Woody Allen, Ricky Gervais, Stephen Hawking, Eddie Izzard, Sarah Silverman, Cormac McCarthy, Tim Minchin, and others. Dawkins and Krauss don't preach — they reason, loudly, in public. Worth watching if you're interested in the argument itself; less useful if you want a balanced treatment of the opposing side.
