Crayon Shin-chan: Invasion!! Alien Shiriri (2017) is the 25th theatrical film in Japan's long-running Crayon Shin-chan franchise — watch it online on iFILM, directed by Masakazu Hashimoto. A mysterious alien called Shiriri zaps Shin-chan's parents back to childhood, leaving the five-year-old troublemaker suddenly responsible for the adults who usually look after him.
Shin-chan sets out across Japan with his kindergarten crew and dog Shiro, chasing a fix before things spiral further. At 120 minutes this is one of the longer entries in the series, but it earns the runtime with a proper road-trip structure and the anarchic humor fans expect.
