Synopsis
Jack the Ripper: The London Slasher (2016) is a German thriller you can watch online on iFILM. London, 1888 — a young German woman arrives to rebuild her life with her brother, only to find him locked in a psychiatric ward and named as Jack the Ripper by Scotland Yard.
She refuses to accept the verdict. While the authorities consider the file as good as closed, Anna launches her own investigation through Whitechapel's streets. Sonja Gerhardt carries the film as Anna; Falk Hentschel and Nicholas Farrell round out the cast, with Sebastian Niemann directing. The German original title — Eine Frau jagt einen Mörder, "A Woman Hunts a Murderer" — makes the angle explicit: this is a private pursuit, not an institutional one, and that shift in perspective gives the familiar material real grip.
