Synopsis
"Practical Joke" (1977) is a Soviet school drama directed by Vladimir Menshov you can watch online on iFILM. The entire tenth grade tells their math teacher she gave them the wrong test date — except for one girl who refused to lie. That honesty turns her into a class enemy overnight.
Oleg Komarovsky (Dmitry Kharatyán, in his film debut) is the ringleader: sharp, popular, already half-adult, and now locked out of the international mathematics olympiad because of the failed test. Yevgenia Khanayeva, Natalya Fateyeva, Natalya Vavilova, Oleg Tabakov and Zinoviy Gerd fill out the cast.
