Synopsis
A Date for Mad Mary (2016) is an Irish comedy-drama you can watch online on iFILM. Director Darren Thornton follows Mary McArdle (Seána Kerslake) as she returns to Drogheda after a short prison stint and finds that life there simply continued without her.
Her best friend Charlene is getting married. Mary is maid of honor but has no date. Charlene lets slip that Mary probably could not find one anyway — which is all it takes. Mary sets out through Drogheda's limited social scene, working against a reputation that precedes her everywhere she goes in a town where everyone already knows what she did.
