Bad CGI Gator

Bad CGI Gator (2023) is an American horror-comedy directed by Danny Draven that you can watch online on iFILM. Six college students rent a cabin in the Georgia swamps over spring break and, in a fit of anti-academic rebellion, throw their laptops into the backyard lake.

The lake has a resident alligator. It absorbs the electronics and becomes a creature with comically terrible computer-generated effects — intentionally so. At 58 minutes, the film is a lean self-aware riff on cheap creature features from the early 2000s, and the tagline "Terror, rendered too cheaply" tells you exactly what you're in for.
