Vamp

Vamp (1986) is an American horror-comedy you can watch online on iFILM. College friends Keith (Chris Makepeace) and A.J. (Robert Rusler) drive into the city to find a stripper for a fraternity party. They find a club called After Dark that seems to have exactly what they need. It does not go well for them.

The main draw is Katrina, played by Grace Jones — singer, model, one of the defining presences of the decade. She has no dialogue. She doesn't need any. Body paint, stillness, and a gaze that reads as genuinely predatory: Jones gives one of the stranger monster performances of the era, carrying every scene without a word.

Director Richard Wenk shot the film lean and low-budget, with a good instinct for when to play things for laughs and when to let things go dark. The practical effects still hold up. Stream Vamp (1986) on iFILM.
