Vedaa (Sharvari Wagh) dreams of boxing. Born into a so-called lower caste, she is told that dream isn't hers to have. Her only ally is Abhimanyu (John Abraham), a court-martialed major dragging his own trauma behind him. He starts by teaching her to fight in the ring. Soon both of them are fighting a far uglier opponent — the people who decide who gets to live with dignity. Abhishek Banerjee makes a genuinely chilling antagonist.

Across 151 minutes the movie wraps a hard look at caste violence inside crowd-pleasing action beats. Advani doesn't soften the cruelty, and that's the point.
