Synopsis
AGGRO DR1FT (2024) is Harmony Korine's experimental action piece, now streaming online on iFILM. The entire movie is shot through a thermal camera, so every face, weapon and Miami neon sign glows in infrared heat.
The plot is stripped to the bone. Bo, a hitman who believes he's the last demon left alive, closes in on a new target deep in the city's criminal underworld. What follows is less a story than a trance: a looping voiceover, digital patterns crawling over the frame, rapper Travis Scott as a partner-in-crime, and Jordi Mollà anchoring the whole hallucination. Predator and prey keep dissolving into the same blur.
Just over eighty minutes of pure visual experiment, closer to video art than genre cinema. Korine splits a room in half — some walk out after ten minutes, others sink straight into the heat-vision fever dream. Come for the form, not the drama. Stream AGGRO DR1FT (2024) online on iFILM.
