Synopsis
Nevada, 1963. Laws of Man (2025), Phil Blattenberger's crime thriller, is now streaming online on iFILM. Two U.S. marshals, Tommy and Frank, ride into the dusty back country carrying arrest warrants — routine work, by their measure.
Their man is Benjamin Bonnie, who has the county cowed and guns down farmers over land disputes. The local sheriff long ago gave up on him, and Bonnie himself is sure no badge can touch him. At the killer's door the marshals get an ugly surprise: the warrant was pulled the day before they arrived. Neither lawman is willing to turn back, so the job curdles into something personal, where being right no longer matches what the paper says.
Harvey Keitel, Dermot Mulroney and Graham Greene head the cast, and the early-Sixties setting is shot dry, with none of the usual frontier romance. Rated R and tagged "justice comes with a cost," it's a slow, hard look at what's left of the law once the paperwork loses its grip. Stream Laws of Man (2025) online on iFILM.
