Synopsis
Guy Manley: Super Spy (2024) is a Swedish spy-movie spoof you can watch online on iFILM, with its self-mockery cranked all the way up. Guy Manley used to be the world's number-one secret agent. Now he is drinking his way through a miserable retirement.
Then his old boss Buck Cash shows up with "one last mission." Rich and ruthless, Buck wants to seize control of the city and, ideally, the planet, but one man stands in his way: his own brother Rich Cash, a beloved candidate for mayor. Guy's assignment is as simple as it is absurd, take out the boss's brother. What follows is chases, shootouts and gags that keep smashing the fourth wall. Peter Stormare lends the film a familiar face.
Director David Andersson made an unapologetic goof in the don't-take-it-seriously vein, swapping blockbuster budgets for sheer cheek and Bond parody.
