Lunacy (2024) is a surreal psychological mystery you can watch online on iFILM. Six strangers accept a tempting invitation to a retreat deep in the rainforest. The host who lured them there never quite shows his face — and the jungle, it turns out, has no way out.

Some unseen force pins the guests in place, turning a private getaway into a test of how long a mind can hold. Why these particular people, what binds them, and what exactly is measuring them — director Daniel Askill doles it out slowly, through paranoia and slippery reality. Bobbi Salvör Menuez, Isabel Lucas and Lily Sullivan lead the small cast. Askill comes out of music videos and visual art, and at a lean 77 minutes the film stays a tight puzzle rather than a sprawl.
