Synopsis
The Draw (2025) is a British dystopian sci-fi thriller you can watch online on iFILM. In Alec's world free will is fading fast: real, analogue images are banned and replaced by a technology called the EyeLight.
Online, everyone builds a flawless avatar — a polished second self. That's where Alec meets Jade, and the two start pushing back against a system that logs their every move. Then they're pulled into The Draw, a hit show where the players' virtual lives bleed into the real one, and the game quietly turns into a hunt with deadly stakes.
Director Tom Ruddock uses all of it to poke at surveillance, identity-for-sale and the price of fake comfort — themes that hit a little too close to home now. Ryan Gage leads.
