Chuzhaya Staya (2020) is a Russian crime drama streaming online on iFILM — the story of a police operative who picks the wrong moment to do the right thing. Valery Shatrov arrives at his new posting after a falling-out with the city prosecutor, hoping for a quiet start.

Day one ends with the city's criminal fund stolen, the witnesses dead, and Shatrov as the prime suspect. He caught the thief himself and refused to hand the man over to Oleg Krutakov, the shadow boss who quietly controls the city. Now both the corrupt police command and the criminal network want him gone — preferably permanently. Dmitry Ulyanov and Sergey Veksler lead the cast in a series rated 16+.
